Council begins it’s roadmap for the future

Hume City Council have officially launched the Broadmeadows Precinct Roadmap, kicking off the area's transformation. Supported by a $3.3 million Australian Government grant the project aims to revitalise Broadmeadows into a thriving urban hub.

The roadmap will guide investment to address community needs, focusing on improving education, fostering business growth, and creating more housing and local jobs. This collaborative effort, driven by the Broadmeadows Revitalisation Board, seeks to build a better future for Melbourne's north by addressing long-term challenges faced by residents. [ INFO ]

Restaurant pick of the Week

Mr Mc Cracken

This restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem in plain sight type of a place. You might even past it everyday and not know it’s there. Nestled under the hyatt at Essendon Fields this restaurant offers a sanctuary of escapism to a more modern and relaxed setting whereby you get to choose the right night for you. The menu has a range of set menus to pizzas and a drinks bar that can pair any food palette. It has become one of my new go to night outs when I want to enjoy good company and not sure what I want, but know I have plenty of choice and great quality ingredients. [ INFO ]
