Powerbank fire at the Airport
Lithium batteries are everywhere and are starting to cause risks no matter where we go. From mobile phones, laptops and ebikes we can’t escape them, this was especially true this week when a powerbank caught fire in a Qantas business lounge at Melbourne Airport. The man was rushed into a shower to tend to his burns and was transfered to the Alfred Hospital in a stable condition. Increasingly, this is something we need to be aware of. Check your batteries and devices regularly for any damage. [ INFO ]
