It’s Show Time

The Sunbury show is on this Saturday for one day only, and has been running for 102 years. What started as a horse sale has now become one of a handful of agricultural shows still running today. Imagine the Royal Melbourne show, but just on a smaller scale. From animals, to live entertainment, this show is a family favourite and has something for everyone. My pick for the Show is the Dog Dash and Dog High Jump. There’s something about watching a dog jumping unbelieveable heights. [ INFO ]

Sleep at the Airport for a cause

Embrace your car for one night and sleep in it to raise funds and awareness for the homeless and domestic violence. Melbourne Airport CEO Lorie Argus said “the event was a powerful reminder of an often-unseen crisis”. The aim is to raise $100,000 dollars to go towards a service where demand is out stripping supply. [ INFO ]

The EPA expressly granted the license on the provison that the company does not start what is called a new cell. The company ignored this condition and was fined. [ INFO ]

Celebrity chef visits 30 year old Bakery

Tabets Bakery is an instituion and not long ago celebrated their 30 year anniversary. They have the best Lebanese Pizza I have tasted and what I love about this cuisine is the clean and punchy flavours. [ INFO ]
