HAPPY EASTER
We had a full newsletter this week until I found out everything was sold out. So we decided to only put in events that all families can enjoy. Easter is a special time and the Humepulse crew wish you all a Happy Easter. Whatever you decide to do enjoy your extended break.
The Joys of Easter
A memory that keeps giving me a nostalgic internal smile is a thought of yesteryear, as a kid and remembering what Easter was like. That one special thing I looked forward to was the morning with my slippers covered in dew without a care about the morning cold.
One of the exciting activities for kids is the discovery of the Easter egg hunt. Running around finding little sparkling edible presents dotted all through the yard. It’s one of Easters greatest joys.

Hume Council News & Events
Council meeting wrap up
Last week we had too many things to put into the newsletter and didn’t have space for the council wrap up. So Here goes …
On March the 23rd the Council adopted its 30-year Active Living Plan and new Graffiti and Gambling Harm policies. Key advocacy plans included a parliamentary submission regarding the proposed Sunbury waste-to-energy incinerator and a push for a local university campus to bridge educational gaps. The Council also called for restored state funding for school crossings and Old Sydney Road. These efforts, alongside celebrating Sunfest’s 50th anniversary, highlighted an action plan to balancing the areas growth challenges with community safety. [ INFO ]

Hume Featured Event
Kruze for Kids
The annual 15th Kruze for Kids event is one of the biggest suburban events that raise money for the Good Friday Appeal. It’s not just a car show it’s an event for everyone, with live music, market stalls, auction items, a raffle, kids entertainment, food vendors, and a bar/bistro all in one place, making for a great day out full of family fun. You will see everything from cars to bikes to trucks, and the weather looks to clear up by mid morning making for a perfect day.
The Kruze for Kids event is on at Langama Park 109 Mitchells lane Sunbury 10am to 3 pm. A gold coin donation to get in. [ INFO ]

Friday 03rd April
Langama Park have gone all out, after the kruze for Kids event there will be GOOD FRIDAY LIVE MUSIC WITH JASON RESCH - starting at 8pm. Why not have dinner a few bevies and dance the night away. [ INFO ]
Lamanna easter egg hunt and fundraiser for the Good Friday appeal. Help Lammana reach their goal of $75,000. Psst… (I think they are close). [ INFO ]
Saturday 04th April
The 12 Volt Custom boys are putting on a carshow to enjoy the last weekend of daylight Savings and some good weather. As always these guys put on a cracker of an event and get a huge turnout. See some awesome machines unique to this group. This is a family friendly event. [ INFO ]
Easter vista Vibes At Marnong Estate will have you busting a groove on the lawn with a wine in one hand and a woodfired pizza in the other. [ INFO ]
Looking for a low key activity with the kids?, then why not do some cupcake decorating. The Dessert Haus are holding workshops starting this Saturday and running till 19th of April. [ book here ]
Sunday 05th April
Vista Vibes Sundays are back At Marnong Estate with Gabrielle Sparnon. Enjoy her smooth vocals while taking in the view and enjoying a slow day away from the pressures of life. Why not have a sip and a bite to eat while your there. [ INFO ]
