Double Whammy.. The start of spring and fathers day what a weekend it will be. The flowers have already started to bloom, market season has also started and we all get celebrate our fathers and let him know just how much he means to us. The 24th of August council meeting, Cr Kurt moved a motion to extend the borders of woodlands historic park. The aim of the motion is to protect to park and to stop the scourge of illegal dumping in the area. By extending the park boundaries it now provides a less of a chance for the dumping to occur as the land that was accesible will now be fenced off. [ INFO ]

They are back ! Hume Clean Days are held quarterly on the first weekend of the month ( quaterly). It just so happens to be this weekend. It’s time to get the house back together and to get it ready for the Grand Final Party. If you want to know what you can throw out, click here [ INFO ]

50 years of entertaining the masses and the show that “must go on!!” still delights crowds, and if anything Silver Circus have perfected their craft. These are the last weeks to see a show in Sunbury. This weekend is a perfect chance to spend fathers day with the family and have a memorable time together. [ INFO ]

This Section is about informing everyone about how Data centres are causing a risk to our health and changing the area we all live in and love. I have been tracking what is going on for the whole area. Please let me know if you’d like me to write anything in particular.

The Hume Council were the first council to question the validity of data centers. When the EPA also voiced their issues it strenghtened the position of the council and community concerns. Now more Councils have come together to voice their issues. Momentum is growing and this is what we all need in order to protect our precious resources. [ INFO ]
