It’s not a busy one this weekend or is it?. It’s Enjoy a local cafe with friends or gather the crew go see a band. It’s a 2 speed weekend. Either way have a fantatstic weekend.

This week the Council had another meeting on Monday the 11th of May. This meeting was a short one and could be described as a non event. Alot of the meeting was more about procedual policies and the council tightening up on wordings. Although the one thing that would be of interest, is that the Draft Budget is open for community feedback. This is a chance to have your say on the roads, footpaths, parks, community facilities and local improvements that matter most to you. If you would like to give feedback click here. As you may know Drone Soccer has come to Hume. The Mdrones crew are looking for Teams and anyone interested in this new and exciting game using drones. Hume Pulse is looking for interested people to form a team. You require no experience and it’s for all ages. There is a cost involved but we can work out something, at this point we are looking for anyone interested. Support Little wings charity by welcoming home Pilot Rose. When Rose lands at Essendon Airport this weekend she will become the Guinness World Record holder, for her attempt to fly around Australia as the youngest pilot in a general aviation aircraft. Her achievement is something to be celebrated as well as a chance to support this Awesome Hume’n and the charity she has done this for.

A market was planned to be built in 1987 which became a major part of everyones weekly to do list. At it’s peak it was a place where you could do bungy jumping what was the market? [ INFO ]

This historical establishment has been given a new life and the new owners have created something special. The use of wood and an exposed ceiling gives you that sense of place. Picture yourself sipping on a cup of good coffee and spending some time with friends whilst looking out towards the winery grounds. Although the owners are having a soft launch I’m sure their menu will be a reflection of how good this place looks and feels.
